Mr. Jackson is an exceptional talent with over ten years of professional and leadership experience in the information technology sector, specializing in project management, technical solutions, and team leadership. His innovative thinking and strong communication skills have consistently led to the successful delivery of complex solutions and managed services, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality control.

Mr. Jackson’s professional journey is marked by significant achievements and responsibilities. Prior to joining Bizzell, he served the Baltimore City Health Department as the Systems Analyst & Programmer Supervisor/Project Manager. Here, Mr. Jackson demonstrated exceptional leadership, overseeing operational technology for over 1,100 users within a $130M budget environment. His ability to coordinate internal resources and third parties, develop project scopes, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery set him apart as a leader in his field. His tenure at Telecommunications Systems, Inc, and his insightful work as a Research Engineer at Jefferson Lab further solidify his expertise and innovative approach to technology.

With a solid educational foundation holding two bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and physics from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, Mr. Jackson has honed his skills in project lifecycle management, risk mitigation planning, and strategic IT planning and execution. His skills go beyond technical expertise, encompassing a deep understanding of product development, quality assurance, and agile frameworks. Rajah has also secured his Project Management Professional and Certified Scrum Master certifications.

At Bizzell, Mr. Jackson will lead our Technology & Innovation division, focusing on spearheading infrastructure management, information security, and application support with an eye for cutting-edge advancements. He will ensure our technical projects are not only aligned with organizational goals but also set the benchmark for innovation in our industry. Bizzell Celebrates Job Corps National Signing Day

October 2, 2023 (New Carrollton, MD) Bizzell is thrilled to have supported 2023 Job Corps National Signing Day, a nationwide campaign celebrating young people’s decision to pursue their career goals by enrolling in the Job Corps program and to celebrating Centers that reach their enrollment goals. During the week of September 25, Jobs Corps Centers across the nation shared in the spirit of empowering students, by honoring newly arrived students who committed to joining Job Corps during this high-spirited week. Bizzell Job Corps Centers enrolled 59 new students for Job Corps Signing Day.

Throughout the week, Job Corps Centers under the management of Bizzell hosted a series of events, including signing ceremonies, red-carpet celebrations, and workshops, all designed to highlight the diverse career paths and educational opportunities available through the Job Corps program. To date, the 2023 Job Corps Signing Day sealed the deal for the Long Beach and New Haven Job Corps Centers as both Center met their enrollments goals:

  • 252 prospectives that have committed to Long Beach Job Corps Center
  • 132 prospectives that have committed to New Haven Job Corps Center

June 22, 2023 (New Carrollton, Md) – Bizzell US (Bizzell) is pleased to introduce Adrienne Pope as the new Center Director for the Tulsa Job Corps Center, operated by Bizzell. As the new Center Director, Ms. Pope will oversee the strategic direction, daily operations, and overall success of the center. She will work closely with the center’s dedicated team of educators, counselors, and support staff to ensure that each student receives the highest quality of education and guidance necessary to thrive in their chosen career paths.

Ms. Pope has over 19 years of leadership experience in education and Job Corps Centers. She has supported the Hartford Job Corps Center in Hartford, CT since 2010 where she has served as the Center Director, Deputy Center Director, Director of Administrative Services, and Careers Services Director.

Bizzell operates the 13-acre Tulsa Job Corps Center, where they provide academic, career technical, career success skills, and career development training and related support services to nearly 235 young adults each day between the ages of 16-24. The Center offers students education and training programs in the hospitality, construction, heath care, and homeland security industries. With more than 115 staff supporting the center, all are residents of the greater Tulsa community and work to partner with local businesses and resources, such as the YMCA, University of Oklahoma, and Tulsa Police Department, to assist the students throughout their journey.

Bizzell Awarded Federal Contract to Operate New Haven Job Corps Center

November 29, 2022 (New Carrollton, MD) – Bizzell US (Bizzell) has been awarded the federal contract to operate and manage the New Haven Job Corps Center located in New Haven, CT, effective December 1, 2022. This five-year contract will provide education and training to 157 youths and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24. In addition, the contract will provide jobs for 92 staff members, all of whom are residents of the New Haven community. Further, Bizzell will engage and leverage community partnerships as part of the city’s economic development impact initiative.

Students enrolled in the New Haven Job Corps Center program will be able to obtain their high school diploma and complete training for a trade in construction, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, finance and business, or culinary arts. Graduates from the New Haven Job Corps Center will be provided career placement assistance, which can include an industry-related job, college, the Armed Forces, apprenticeship training, or advanced training.
