Bizzell Sponsors AFCEA NOVA Student IT Day
Bizzell is proud to support the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Northern Virginia (NOVA) Student Information Technology (IT) Day, underscoring our commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education. In collaboration with key partners like the Space Systems Command’s Innovation Hub COSMIC, Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation (VTARC), IMMERSED, and the AFCEA NOVA Educational Foundation, we’re helping shape the next generation of STEM leaders.
The event engaged 40 talented students from John Lewis High School and Hampton Middle School in robotics theory through workshops and interactive sessions, promoting teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
Our support for AFCEA NOVA Student IT Day aligns with our mission to enhance public health strengthening, empower youth and women, drive economic growth, and advance technological innovation in our nation and around the world.
Bizzell’s commitment extends beyond this event, through our management of four Department of Labor Job Corps Centers and the implementation of Matchplicity, a job-matching platform that prepares students for the workforce. Additionally, our international youth empowerment accelerators and comprehensive internship and mentorship programs reflect our holistic approach to education, blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
